Screenwave International Film Festival is committed to making the festival accessible for all by providing a range of accessible services and facilities at festival screenings and events, where possible.

Wheelchair Access

SWIFF has made every effort to ensure programmed films are being screened at wheelchair accessible venues. Please contact the Jetty Theatre Box Office on (02) 6652 8088 or email contact@swiff.com.au, should you need to reserve a wheelchair accessible space.

Companion Card

SWIFF is a Companion Card Affiliate. Companion Card holders qualify for concession price tickets and a second ticket at no cost for their companion. We recognise the Companion Card at all events, capacity allowing. Call the Jetty Theatre on 6652 8088 for any special requirements, including wheelchair and mobility access. Assisted Listening

The Jetty Memorial Theatre possess a Hearing Loop for assistive listening, please contact the Jetty Memorial Theatre Box Office on (02) 6652 8088 for all assistive listening enquiries.

Auslan Interpreted

To assist the Deaf Community in engaging with SWIFF’s program, an Auslan Interpreter will be present at the Special Event: Access All Areas program on January 19 at the Jetty Memorial Theatre.

Open Captions

To assist patrons who are Deaf or hard of hearing engage with SWIFF’s Special Event: Access All Areas program on January 19 at the Jetty Memorial Theatre, there will be screenings of the short films with Open Captions available.

Subtitles

Many films screening at SWIFF are subtitled. While the sound effects are not annotated (as in Open Captions) all spoken dialogue will be captioned onscreen. Some un-titled English dialogue will occur.
